Craig Handford

Craig is Head Coach of the men's first team. An FIVB level 2 qualified former National Women's Team and full-time programme coach, Craig has been a great addition to the 'Castle ranks.

Ant Viggars

Ant is known to most as 'Castle's official 'club legend' after accumulating many hundreds of appearances on court over a long playing career. In recent year he has turned his hand to coaching and in addition to working as our local Community Volleyball Coach in North Staffordshire, Ant is head coach of NSVC junior girls and supports the coaching of the ladies.

Will Roberts

Will is head coach of the club's junior boys, having taken up coaching at the age of 20 he now has considerable experience. Numerous young players from the 'Castle ranks have achieved junior international honours having been introduced to the sport through Will's coaching.

Colin Roberts

Also club chair and a founding member of NSVC, Colin has been coaching young 'Castle players since before the club was formed and can inspire any youngster to work hard on their game. Coaching highlights vary from taking a Marshlands (now Wolstanton) school team 4th place in the ISF World Schools finals in 1984, to assisting son Will as coach of the under 16 boys national champions in 2009!

Sophie Cawdell

Sophie is a Volleyball England level 2 qualified coach who has taken on player-coach responsibilities for the ladies squad in the 2009-10 season.

Rod Stockwell

Rod is "Mr 'Castle" devoting endless hours to the club, often supporting teams as coach and assistant coach four days a week as a volunteer. Rod head coaches the men's 2nd team and has done a similar role for many years as well as having previoulsy coached the ladies.
